Carrot Study

Hi mamas,

We had so much fun kicking off our hands-on learning with this great cross-curricular carrot study!

Pre-k-3rd grade learners learned all about the history and origin of carrots in our Carrot Study!

Students learned the many health benefits of carrots, including having natural antiseptic for cleaning teeth! (So of course we had test out brushing our teeth with carrots.)

Students read and wrote all about carrots’ natural medicinal properties including antioxidant power, preventing infection, and having vitamin A!

Students learned the anatomy of a carrot with our carrot diagram, and wrote sentences using their descriptive words!
